“On my wedding day, my ex-wife Reema came to bless us – she was pregnant. My new wife, Anaya asked him just one question… And that answer shook the foundation of my life. ”

Reema’s sudden appearance caught the attention of the entire wedding pavilion. Whispers spread among the guests, and no one could understand what was going to happen next.

During my college days, I was a handsome guy and also a very good boy in studies. Many girls were attracted to me, but I never truly fell in love with anyone. My family was financially weak, and I worked part-time every day to pay for my studies. In such a situation, love was never a priority for me.

One of those girls was my classmate Reema. To impress me, she would often bring me lunch, buy clothes for me, and sometimes even pay a part of my college fees.

I didn’t really love him, but because his family had helped me with my education, I felt obligated to maintain a relationship with him.

After graduating, when I wanted to get a job in the city, I agreed to marry her to get the recommendation of her parents. But after marriage, I realized that I had no emotional connection to her at all—and the slightest physical closeness with her made me uncomfortable.

We’ve been married for three years, and we still haven’t had any kids. She kept asking me to get a medical test, but every time I kept saying that I was completely healthy and refused to go to the doctor. Meanwhile, my job stabilized and I was no longer dependent on his family. So I decided to leave that lifeless, cold marriage and go out in search of “true love.”

My apathy and neglect broke him from the inside. Eventually, she signed the divorce papers and set me free.

After the divorce, I began a relationship with my business partner, Anaya — the woman I had admired from afar for a long time. About a year later, we decided to get married. I didn’t send an invitation to Reema, yet somehow she came to the wedding.

The biggest shock came when she came to congratulate us, apparently pregnant. Everyone present was stunned with disbelief, whispers echoed around.

Standing in front of us, Rima said:

“If I had the chance to live again, I would never waste my youth on a man who never loved me and just used my money.” Marrying you was the biggest mistake of my life. ”

She was about to turn around when Anaya asked in a trembling voice,

“Whose baby is growing in your womb?”

That question shook me to the core. We had been divorced for more than a year, so the baby couldn’t be mine. But then… Why didn’t she get pregnant in three years of marriage?

Did this mean that the problem was really me?

Without any hesitation, Rima turned around and said,

“We didn’t have a baby for three years. I kept asking them to get the investigation done, but every time they blamed me. All my medical reports were normal. After the divorce, when I met a good man and married him… I got pregnant the first night. ”

Her words were so shocking that the bouquet slipped from Anaya and fell to the ground. I just stood there—stunned, stunned, unable to speak at all.

After Reema left, I tried to convince Anaya to at least complete the wedding rituals first and discuss everything else later. But he flatly refused. He said,

“My brother and sister-in-law were childless for nine years. They spent lakhs of rupees on treatment, but nothing worked out and they eventually got divorced.
I don’t want to repeat that story. ”

In a woman’s life, a failed marriage diminishes her importance. I don’t want my first marriage to a man who may not even be able to be a father.

I had no right to blame Reema or Anaya

My ruin was the result of my selfishness, my decisions, and my mistakes.
What I had sown was now reaping.
If I had treated my first wife with honesty and respect,
I probably wouldn’t be in such a miserable situation today.
