My husband told me to sell this banana this morning and then take maternity leave, our child is only 1 month away from being born

“My wife told me, this morning I sold these bananas and went on maternity leave, our daughter only had 1 month left… She promised to come home early, take her for a prenatal checkup, and then our whole family prepared to welcome the little angel.

And yet… My God, why is it so sad! She was at work when she received a call from a neighbor from the lightning:
— ‘Brother, go home now, my wife… A truck hit your wife at the market!”

She let go of her hands and rushed like crazy down the street. With every step I took, my heart pounded as if it was about to explode, I just kept repeating my words in my head: ‘I’ll just sell this trip, then go back to take care of my mother and children’.

Arriving… In front of him was the scene of blood splattered on the road, bananas scattered, and the bicycle he still used to transport goods was broken in half. And I… The woman he loved the most… Lying motionless in the middle of a circle of worried people.

He screamed like a madman, knelt down and hugged her, and trembled in despair:
— ‘Baby, open your eyes! There’s only one month left and my child is about to be born. Why do you dare to leave me alone like this?”

They pulled her out, but she stayed, sobbing like a child. I was gone, leaving a drop of our blood in my belly, the child no longer had time to be called “parents”.

It’s so sad, woman… For years, the couple had saved every dollar, sacrificing everything to wait for the day their child was born in a small house. But cruel fate had stolen me, stolen my mother’s warmth from me.

How do you know how to live now? How can she be alone with both parents? How can we deny the sorrow that our children have suffered since they were born?

She was in great pain, and she could only look up at the sky and cry out:
— ‘Oh my God, why is this so unfair? How dare you steal your sweet wife, when she is only a month away from becoming a mother?”

Wife, rest in peace… He promised, no matter how hard it was, he would raise his children to grow up. “This pain, I can’t get rid of it in my whole life…”
