RIGHT AFTER GIVING BIRTH, HER MOTHER-IN-LAW AND HER HUSBAND’S MISTRESS THREW THE DIVORCE PAPERS IN HER FACE — THEY THOUGHT SHE WAS POOR, BUT THEY DIDN’T KNOW SHE OWNS THE VERY HOSPITAL THEY WERE IN!…/HXL

SHE HAD JUST GIVEN BIRTH WHEN HER MOTHER-IN-LAW AND ATTACHÉ THREW DIVORCE PAPERS IN HER FACE – THEY THOUGHT SHE WAS A BEGGAR, BUT THEY DIDN’T KNOW SHE OWNED THE HOSPITAL THEY WERE IN!

Sofia is a simple woman who marries Jason out of love. For two years, Sofia endured the bullying of her mother-in-law, Donya Elvira.

“You don’t care!” cried Elvira. “Chew! Forget! My son loves you. You can’t give anything to our family!”

What Jason and Elvira don’t know, Sofia is just pretending to be difficult. He is the hidden heiress of the Montemayor Group of Companies—one of the wealthiest families in Asia. Sofia just wanted to make sure Jason truly loved her before he revealed his wealth.

But he failed.

Sofia had just given birth to their first child in a Public Ward of the hospital (because Jason didn’t want to pay for a private room). She was tired, even bleeding, and hugging the baby.

Suddenly, the door opened.

Jason entered. But he wasn’t alone. With him is Donya Elvira and a jewel-laden mestizo woman—Tiffany, Jason’s wealthy ex-girlfriend.

“Jason,” Sophia called softly. “Look at our son…”

Jason didn’t look at the boy. It’s just a bow.

Elvira came along.

THEN!

Elvira tossed a thick folder in Sofia’s face.

“What’s that?” asked Sophia, with tears in her eyes.

“Annulment Papers and Separation Agreement,” Tiffany replied sharply, clinging to Jason’s arm. “Sign it. Stay away from Jason. We are getting married.”

“J-Jason…” Sophia groaned. “Why? I just gave birth! “Your son!”

“I’m sorry, Sophia,” Jason replied, not looking straight away. “I need money. Our business has collapsed. Only Tiffany could save us. He’s rich. You? You don’t contribute. You’re just a burden.”

Elvira laughed. “Did you hear that? We don’t have any blessings for you! “You are a poor man! Get out of here and get out with your baby! We don’t want to waste blood in our family!”

Tiffany nodded at Sofia. “Get lost, loser. This hospital bill? I’m going to pay you because you don’t have any money. You’re embarrassed.”

Sophia wiped away her tears. He nodded at the three of them. The pain was replaced by anger.

“Are you sure?” asked Sofia, her voice suddenly cold and serious. “Once I sign it, you won’t come back.”

“Where are we!” laughed Elvira. “Sign it!”

Sophia signed the paper.

“Good,” sabi ni Tiffany. “Now, get out.”

They were about to leave when the door to the ward suddenly opened.

Ten men came in in suits. And among them are the Hospital Director and the Chief of Staff.

Elvira was astonished. “Oh, Director! Are you here? My name is Elvira. Do you know me?”

The director just passed Elvira.

Doctors and bodyguards went straight to Sofia.

At the same time, they bowed 90 degrees in front of the woman lying on the bed.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Sofia,” the Director greeted with great respect. “I’m sorry you were taken to the public ward. We didn’t know you were here. The Presidential Suite and the helicopter are ready to move you.”

Jason’s jaw dropped. Tiffany’s eyes widened. Elvira was about to die.

“Uh-huh?” asked Jason.

Sophia stood up slowly. The bodyguard reached for an expensive silk robe and put it on her.

“Director,” Sophia said. “Please tell these people who I am.”

“Yes, ma’am,” the director turned to the three of them. “Her name is Ms. Sofia Montemayor. The owner of this hospital, and the CEO of Montemayor Empire who owns the company where you work, Mr. Jason.”

It was as if heaven and earth had fallen on Jason. Her “poor” husband is her boss’s boss.

“Sofia!” suddenly Jason approached, trying to grab Sophia. “Hon! I was just kidding a while ago! I love you! This is for our son!”

“Don’t touch me,” utos ni Sofia.

The guards stopped Jason.

Sofia walked over to Donya Elvira and Tiffany who were trembling with fear.

“Did you say I didn’t have a clue? “Are you saying I’m too busy?” asked Sophia. “Elaine O’Neill, what is the place where you live?” It was deposited in my bank. “Your father owes me $100 million.”

Sofia picked up the Annulment Paper that she had signed.

“Thank you for this paper. I am now free from you. But you? From now on, your life will be a hell of a ride.”

“Director,” utos ni Sofia. “Blacklist these three people from all my hospitals. At tawagan ang bangko, i-foreclose ang bahay ni Elvira ngayon din. At Jason… you’re fired.”

“Sofia! “You’ve got to be careful!” exclaimed Elvira. “Don’t take our house!”

“Hon! I am sorry! “Don’t get me out of here!” cried Jason.

Sophia didn’t listen to them.

“Guards,” Sofia commanded as she carried her son out the door. “Get rid of these garbage. They’re destroying the air in my hospital.”

Security dragged Jason, Elvira, and Tiffany out. They are left on the road, crying and remorseful, as Sofia boards the helicopter back to her real world—a world where she is the Queen and no one can oppress her.
